On week from now, the ice hockey highlight of the winter takes place at the STEFFL Arena! On December 13th, the Caps Heroes, a selection of Vienna Capitals legends, will face the Czech Icons, a team comprised of 1998 Olympic champions, world champions, and multiple Stanley Cup winners, at the Night of Hockey Legends. A large supporting program surrounds the event, including a fan village, autograph sessions, and a merchandise stand. We've answered the most important questions for you here.

Das Legendenspiel zwischen den Caps Heroes und den Czech Icons beginnt am 13. Dezember um 18.00 Uhr in der STEFFL Arena. Beide Teams schicken je einen Goalie und vier Feldspieler auf das Eis. Es werden drei Drittel á 15 Minuten gespielt. Sollte es nach 45 Minuten unentschieden stehen, folgt eine fünfminütige Drei-gegen-Drei-Overtime. Sollte da noch kein Sieger gefunden sein, geht es ins Shootout. Wie auch immer das Spiel ausgeht - ein Show-Shootout um die Night of Hockey Legends Penalty Trophy findet auf jeden Fall nach Spielende statt.

The legends game between the Caps Heroes and the Czech Icons starts on December 13th at 6:00 PM at the STEFFL Arena. Both teams will field one goalie and four skaters. The game will consist of three 15-minute periods. If the score is tied after 45 minutes, a five-minute three-on-three overtime period will be played. If the score is still tied after overtime, the game will go to a penalty shootout. Regardless of the outcome, a show shootout for the Night of Hockey Legends Penalty Trophy will take place immediately after the game.

Das Programm rund um die Night of Hockey Legends startet am Areal der STEFFL Arena bereits um 15.00 Uhr, denn da öffnet das Fan Village seine Tore. Bei der Active-Area könnt ihr euer sportliches Können unter Beweis stellen. Das Bedürfnis nach Speis und Trank kann bei einem Punschstand, einem Ottakringer-Biertruck und einem Maronistand gestillt werden. Von 15.40 Uhr bis 16.20 Uhr gibt es Autogramm- und Fotomöglichkeiten mit ausgewählten Caps Heroes und Czech Icons. Zwischen 16.00 Uhr und 17.00 Uhr wird sich das Profiteam der Vienna Capitals unter das Publikum mischen und ebenfalls für Autogramme und Fotos zur Verfügung stehen. Ab 16.45 Uhr startet der Einlass in die STEFFL Arena.

The Night of Hockey Legends program starts at 3:00 PM on the premises of STEFFL Arena, when the Fan Village opens its doors. At the Active Area, you can put your athletic skills to the test. Food and drinks will be available at a punch stand, an Ottakringer beer truck, and a roasted chestnut stand. From 3:40 PM to 4:20 PM, there will be opportunities for autographs and photos with selected Caps Heroes and Czech Icons. Between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM, the current squad oft he Vienna Capitals will mingle with the crowd and also be available for autographs and photos. Doors to the STEFFL Arena open at 4:45 PM.
